Unlike many art centers in Cologne and Germany, Quartier am Hafen is a privately owned artist and studio house. Approximately half of the studios are allocated through the studio advisory board of the Cologne cultural office.

The other half are allocated directly by Quartier am Hafen.
For the last 4 years, Quartier am Hafen has been fully occupied and wants to continue to grow due to the large studio demand in Cologne. In addition to our current 86 studios, 54 more studios for artists of all art forms are to be built next year. Even if the starting signal for the construction cannot yet be given, there are already many inquiries regarding the studios being built. In order to meet this demand, the possibility of an informal application for one of the studios is created here. This also includes the allocation of studios that become vacant in the current building. First, all information and studio applicants will be collected in this way and you will be contacted when there is news about the start of construction or the completion period.

We welcome your applications from all disciplines of art, because the new part of the house should also be multidisciplinary.
