She studied art history and Romance studies in Erlangen-Nuremberg and at the Universitá degli Studi di Torino, Italy. After an internship at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, she was awarded the curator’s scholarship smax at Schloß Ringenberg. From 2012-15 she managed the exhibition space VITRINEN in Cologne and travelled to Brazil/Colombia with a grant from the Goethe-Institut 2015/16. Most recently, she co-curated the new talents – biennial cologne and the exhibition „Simone Forti -sound move“ at the Kunstmuseum Bonn.
As a freelance curator in Cologne, she works on topics such as Modernity versus Process/Experiment, Performance, Dance, Interdisciplinarity and Collaboration.
