“The Archive into the Present” (AdiG) was open to the public in Cologne from 6 April 2018 and opened up an interdisciplinary discourse space into the present. Artists, musicians, scientists from various disciplines, philosophers, authors, actors from the field of performing arts, the media, etc. were specifically requested to provide the AdiG with their current thinking and visual stumbling blocks to the present; snippets that could give clues to the present time from their personal occupation. Their submissions were accompanied by profiles containing a short personal explanation of the selection.
