The Quartier am Hafen has the means to offer substatial support to regional artist.  Extending this support on a larger scale, the Quartier am Hafen has initiated an international artist residency and offers artists studios and living quarters to international artists.  Currently, cooperations are taking place with the Queens Collective in Marrakech, Morocco, with the Kyoto Art Center in Japan, the Goethe-Institute Vila Sul Salvador-Bahia (Brazil), the THK Gallery in Capetown (South Africa) and the Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv (Israel). Further cooperations are being pursued to widen this international artist residency program.
